Cruz-AI (CRUKS), het Nederlandse zelfuitsluitingsregister, geldt alleen voor vergunninghouders — offshore CS2-sites zijn er niet bij aangesloten. Strafrechtelijke vervolging tegen individuele spelers is zeer zeldzaam, maar Nederlandse consumentenbescherming geldt niet op deze platforms.
